After an exhausting 9-hour drive, our large group of 17 arrived at Quality Inn hoping for a comfortable stay. The exterior was lacking in upkeep, giving a less-than-perfect first impression. However, once inside, the staff was pleasant and attentive during check-in. Our rooms, while bright and cheerful, had a few disappointments. The air conditioning in one room was in need of serious cleaning, causing discomfort. The breakfast selection was basic, but the coffee was notably good. The value for the room at $225 a night felt steep, especially considering some cleanliness issues and maintenance needs.On a positive note, the room itself was comfortable, with effective room-darkening curtains and a well-functioning shower. The beds were cozy, and the staff's friendliness did not go unnoticed. Early check-in was appreciated after our long journey.The hotel's amenities, such as the seasonal outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi, add value, but the overall experience left me questioning if the high price was justified. For a budget-conscious traveler, it may be worth exploring other options with a more balanced luxury-to-cost ratio.
